How Fife taxi fares work
Fares follow the Fife Council scale that took effect on 25 May 2026. A flag-fall covers the first 600 yards, then the meter adds an increment every 150 yards. A higher night rate applies between 10pm and 6am, and a festive rate applies over the Christmas and New Year period.
